REPRESENTATION

There will be different race and gender groups in the video, a white girl and a black boy who represent Americans, The girl is reading to represent a 'preppy' stereotype and the boy is stereotypically playing basketball. Therefore it is linking to the name of the song 'we no speak americano'. Also the main guy in the video is an Asian boy who sings in Italian, therefore it creates  a kind of contrast and offers clearly different representations of different groups.
